Speakers: Dr. Patrick Bratton
Overview:
Dr. Bratton of the US Army War College is an Associate Professor of National Security and Strategy Studies and the Halsey Chair of Naval Strategy. He is a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS). His research focuses on strategic studies (particularly on coercive diplomacy and foreign policy decision-making), Indian foreign and security policy, and maritime issues.
Before coming the War College, he was an Associate Professor of Political Science at Hawaii Pacific University where he taught courses on national security, international relations, and Indian foreign policy. He has also taught courses at the American Graduate School in Paris, France, and the Department of Defence Studies at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
